Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever technology they use to browse it.
Our commitment
Longhill Pharmacy wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website. That means, for example, that you should be able to zoom in up to 300% without text spilling off the screen, navigate the whole site using only a keyboard, and read every page with a screen reader.
What this site does
- Text and background colours are checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast standard.
- Every page has a logical heading structure and descriptive page title.
- All functionality, including the menus and forms, works with a keyboard alone.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- The site works at any screen size and respects your device's motion preferences.
- No content flashes, auto-plays sound, or traps keyboard focus.
Known limitations
Some of our health information is supplied by the NHS and reproduced exactly as the NHS publishes it, which we are required to do under the terms of that content. Maps are provided by Google and open in Google's own interface, whose accessibility we do not control; we always list the address in plain text alongside.
